Each day at Mondragón, we make a fresh soup from scratch. These soups can be familiar or exotic. They can be bold or soft spoken. They can be just like the chef who made them, individual and expressive which is something that our workplace philosophy embraces; as everyone brings something new and exciting to our kitchen table. Our house is all about the baby greens. A spring salad year round featuring a light and creamy dressing topped with seasonal veggies, Manitoba hemp seeds, and a slice of our sesame ginger marinated tofu.

Baby Spinach Salad
Tender organic baby spinach leaves pair nicely with a garlic dill balsamic vinaigrette, topped with seasonal veggies and garnished with toasted pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries.

Our take on a Caesar salad involves the classics: Crisp romaine hearts, rosemary croutons and a rich and creamy dressing made with tahini, garlic, bragg’s, lemons, capers, wakame and sea salt.

Dragon Bowl
Our signature salad, featuring a fusion of Manitoba ingredients and rich Japanese flavor. Made with a blend of different types of kale, chard, shredded cabbage and carrots, we toss this all with a ginger miso dressing and serve it on a bed of warm organic seasoned rice. Topped elegantly with slices of cucumber, shredded beet, carrot, a showering of hemp seeds and some sesame ginger marinated tofu.

Inspiration of the Day –
With all of the fresh food that comes through our doors, we’re constantly being inspired by the ingredients that grow around us. Each morning we prepare a healthy and plate filling entrée, that can range from a fresh local Greek salad in spring, to a hearty winter French stew with warm biscuits in the cold months. Roti
Chickpea and mixed seasonal veggies spiced mildly with a full spectrum of aromatic seasonings, wrapped in a warm and fluffy flat bread made with chickpea flour. We serve this with a sweet and tangy chutney of the day. $7.95
Burrito
Local Organic beans, slowly stewed with plum tomatoes, peppers, & onions. Spiced with toasted hand ground cumin, coriander, a blend of smoked chilis, finished with fresh lime juice and freshly torn cilantro. Mixed with organic rice and wrapped up in a flour tortilla and served with organic corn chips and our home made salsa and vegan sour cream.

Breakfast Burrito
Similar to our burrito platter except filled with organic beans and rice and tofu scramble with peppers, onions, yams and well seasoned tofu. We put a little shredded lettuce and some diced tomatoes on top and serve it with organic corn chips, salsa and vegan sour cream for $8.95
